Eco-club is run by Marcell Smith on Wednesdays after school, 3.30-4.30pm for years 3-6.
Football club is run by parent helpers for year 4 – 6 on Friday after school, 3.30 – 4.30pm
Hockey Club is run by Mrs Grassi for years 5-6 on Tuesday after school, 3.30 – 4.30pm.
Lego Club is run by Jo Smyth on Monday 3.30-4.30.
Mincraft Club is run by Mrs Whittle and the Y5/6 Digital Champions for years 2-3 on Monday 3.30-4.40pm.
Minecraft is like digital version of classic block building, where players create interesting new environments, then go on adventures with the things they build. Beyond that, the game introduces obstacles to players who then have to devise creative solutions to overcome those obstacles. Games like Minecraft can improve learning, motor skills, and creativity.
Netball is run by Mrs Jones for years 3-6 after school on Monday 3.30 – 4.30pm.
Who says netball is a girls sport? In Llangattock this fast and competitive game is enjoyed by boys and girls alike, as they develop their fitness, hand-eye coorindation and communication skills.
Rugby club is for years 3-6 on Thursdays after school 3.30-4.30pm.
We play tag and small side games. We are currently looking for a volunteer to help run this club.
Story club is run by Mrs Vincent for Nursery to Year 2 children on Wednesday after school, 3.30-4.30pm.
At story club the children can enjoy listening to and reading a different story every week and completing activities that include drawing, colouring, construction and singing. Amongst other things! Great fun!
