I have worked in schools in London and Bristol before coming to Llangattock to cover a maternity leave post. 8 years later I’m delighted to say I am still here,  now as headteacher following completion of the NPQH. I have a fantastic job and am lucky enough to still teach in Nursery and Reception for two days a week.

Mrs Lisa VincentMrs Lisa Vincent

Position: Years 1/2 Teacher
Experience: I took a BA in English at Swansea University, followed by a PGCE at Worcester University.  I taught in Somerset initially, but my husband’s job in the Royal Navy took us to Gibraltar, where both my children were born. I did some supply teaching at the Forces School, but spent most of our two years there changing nappies! On returning to the UK, I taught in the beautiful lochside village of Rosneath for four years. We were then happily posted closer to home (and babysitters!) and I joined the team at Llangattock in 2009.
Favourite things: Spending time with my family, visiting new places and old friends, all things Italian, Welsh rugby and marathons – well, technically they’re called Snickers now, but I’m old fashioned….
